Senior Account Manager – Sales

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Account Manager for the AdMonsters Brand will serve as the main point of contact for clients and customers across the brand. This person will build strong relationships with clients and understand clients’ needs to proactively identify growth opportunities for the brand through a consultative approach. Reporting to the Group Director, Sales, this role will contribute to the strategic development of the brand. The expectation is that the person in this role will meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals. This role can be remote but if the candidate resides within the NYC Metro Areas, there will be 1 onsite day per week (flexible).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieving company sales goals for AdMonsters portfolio of products by selling exhibit, sponsorship, advertising opportunities and other custom packages for the brand.
  • Networking and connecting with industry contacts (through sales calls or visits, prospecting, etc.) to establish client relationships
  • Attending and representing the company at industry events
  • Identifying and cultivating new relationships within the industry- build sales leads
  • Supporting sales through customized proposal generation including creative development, collecting and formulating research information, and building strategic proposals that meet the clients’ goals and needs.
  • Research of each potential client/organization/executive before sales meeting (also true for existing clients and accounts) to be able to help establish the unique value that our packages will provide.
  • Meet with sponsors to identify objectives and determine strategy for achieving objectives. Oversee sponsor relationships to determine if sponsor objectives are being met and track satisfaction levels.
  • Collect and monitor insights and feedback from clients to provide feedback to Management.
  • 25% + travel required for client visits and travel to events, including AI events- travel should be approved by management

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Other sales-related duties as assigned
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and industry events
  • Develop revenue generating ideas in collaboration with the Group Director, Sales
  • Generate sales lists for new leads
  • Identify and prioritize prospective sponsors and navigate internal contacts for best sales approach.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience selling events and digital advertising, preferably in the Ad Technology or Marketing Technology industry; contacts in industry are a plus
  • Experience with consultatively selling integrated packages
  • Strong prospecting skills
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office suite competent
  • Proficiency in salesforce

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for long periods of time, ability to travel via car, air, train
