ROCKVILLE, Md. [October 14, 2025] — Cablefax, a leading publication for media and broadband executives in the U.S., today announced its Editorial Director, Amy Maclean, has been selected as a 2026 Cable Hall of Fame inductee by the Syndeo Institute at The Cable Center. Maclean joins five other distinguished honorees in being recognized for their leadership and impact across connectivity, content and media.

“I’m honored and humbled to join such an inspiring group of Hall of Fame inductees who’ve helped shape the future of the industry,” Maclean said. “It’s been a privilege to chronicle this industry’s story at Cablefax, and I look forward to seeing—and sharing—its next chapter.”

With more than two decades of experience covering the intersection of connectivity, television and telecommunications, Maclean has earned a reputation as one of the industry’s most respected voices. Since joining Access Intelligence in 2000, she’s documented the industry’s transformations while driving innovation for Cablefax’s editorial operations, which include Cablefax Daily and Cablefax: The Magazine. Maclean frequently moderates panel discussions at conferences and events, reflecting her expertise and authoritative insight in conversations with influential leaders.

Maclean’s Cable Hall of Fame induction will add to her list of recognitions. She became a member of the Cable TV Pioneers in 2021. In 2024, Maclean was awarded the T. Howard Foundation’s Diversity Advocate Award. Maclean also serves on the board for The WICT Network’s D.C./Baltimore chapter.

Under Maclean’s leadership, Cablefax continues to evolve alongside the market it covers—introducing new platforms such as the CFX Download podcast to deliver fresh industry observations, expanding event programming and strengthening its role as the trusted source for executives navigating the converging world connectivity.

Maclean and the 2026 honorees will be celebrated at the 29th annual Cable Hall of Fame Ceremony on April 23, 2026, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. For more information on how to attend, visit here.
