Houston, TX – AUGUST 27, 2020

The LDC Gas Forums, US-Mexico Natural Gas Forum, and Gulf Coast Energy Forum conference series consists of six annual events, each focused on key natural gas market regions across North America. In response to coronavirus restrictions impacting these events, a modified 2020 program is announced, as follows:

  • Natural Gas Forum 2020 – November 9 – 11, 2020, Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio, TX

This single event replaces the originally scheduled six event program series (Southeast – April; Northeast – June; Rockies & West – August; Mid-Continent – September; Gulf Coast – October; and US-Mexico – November). Previous plans to re-schedule some of the individual events have now been discontinued in favor of this new program. This change to the schedule is unprecedented in the 30+ year history of the Forums. It is expected that the Forum series will return to the standard program schedule in 2021.

The program for this single event offers an agenda and content that combines regional and topical content from all six of the previously scheduled Forums. Accordingly, the program will include topics and speakers that span natural gas, LNG and energy markets in the Southeast, Northeast, Rockies & West, Mid-Continent, Gulf Coast, and US-Mexico. Participants will gain insights into commercial strategies and opportunities provided by officials from market leaders. Of particular interest will be discussion of plans for emergence of markets from pandemic impacts and near-term commercial opportunities.

A unique feature of this event will be a hybrid format combining in-person and virtual participation options. Conference sessions will be conducted live in person, but also available streamed live via a fully interactive platform, as well as on demand. Participants may select the participation format that best suits their social distancing comfort level.

Program planning, including agenda topics, speakers and sponsors is progressing well. Updates with latest details will be announced regularly as they are finalized. Registration is open now and available at https://www.ldcgasforums.com/natural-gas-forum-2020/

LDC Gas Forum management, working in conjunction with the hotel venue, have adopted rigorous standard operating practices and procedures to counter the spread of the virus. These measures will ensure safety and comfort of all participants, while at the same time facilitating networking and deal-making that is the hallmark of these events.

The LDC Gas Forums, US-Mexico Natural Gas Forum, and Gulf Coast Energy Forum series consists of six annual events each focused on the key natural gas market regions across North America. This is where buyers and sellers meet and do business. Much more than simply conferences, the Forums are a venue that deliver insights on critical issues affecting natural gas markets, but in addition provide participants opportunities to meet with industry counterparts to complete commercial business transactions. Timely panel discussions featuring key industry authorities focus on important questions facing buyers, sellers, transportation operators and other market stakeholders in competitive energy markets. Topics addressed include: Supply & Demand, Financial Outlook, Pipeline/Storage/LNG Infrastructure Projects, LNG Export Markets, Mexico Export Markets, Gas/Electric Coordination, Regulatory Updates, Gas Buyer Insights, Risk Analysis and Hedging Strategies, and Global Energy Geopolitics. Participants at the Forums include market leaders, decision makers and subject matter experts, representing all segments of the commercial value chain including utilities, industrial gas consumers, producers, pipelines, marketers, key product and service providers, as well as regulators and analysts. Vast networking opportunities give you access to your clients, prospects, and peers to further explore relevant issues in your region.
