The 2019 RadWaste Summit has announced a speaking spot for Rita Baranwal, Ph.D., Assistant Secretary for the Office of Nuclear Energy, Department of Energy, (DOE). In her current role, Dr. Baranwal leads the office’s efforts to promote research and development on existing and advanced nuclear technologies.

In addition to Dr. Baranwal, five prominent US Department of Energy professionals will join the ranks of 42 confirmed radioactive waste industry executives speaking at the three-day Summit: Todd Shrader, David Adler, Melinda Higgins, Tamara Miles, and John Arthur (Jay) Mullis.
