For the past 40 years, the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition has been the trusted venue for the satellite and space communities to connect with other professionals and markets that utilize satellite technology in their daily operations.

The current environment created by COVID-19 makes it difficult to meet face-to-face, be it personally or professionally. We are just as eager as the rest of the world to be able to meet in-person again in a healthy manner and safe format. To this extent, we have made the decision to move SATELLITE 2021 to July 26 – 29 in Washington, DC. The conference program will take place Monday, July 26 – Thursday, July 29 and the exhibit show floor will be open Tuesday, July 27 – Thursday, July 29.

Just as satellite technology connects the world as a whole no matter their location, our goal in 2021 is to connect our community across time zones, countries and platforms. In 2021, SATELLITE will offer a more immersive experience, bringing you content and networking both in-person and online throughout the year. The entire SATELLITE Experience will be included with your registration for SATELLITE.

We are working closely with the convention center, partner hotels and our supporting vendors to create a safety plan and protocols to ensure we are conducting our program in the safest manner possible. The Walter E. Washington Convention Center recently became GBAC (Global Biorisk Advisory Council) certified and our operations team is GBAC certified as well. Additionally, the center is installing and implementing new technology to efficiently monitor all individuals in the building in a non-intrusive manner and be able to swiftly handle any health risk situations that may arise.
