Access Intelligence, a leader in the B2B Media and Events Industry, is looking for a dynamic Account Executive to develop relationships and sell exhibits and sponsorships for 2 conferences for our Healthcare brand. The Account Executive will serve as the main point of contact for clients and customers for the OR Manager Conference and the OR Business Management Conference. They will build strong relationships with clients and understand clients’ needs to proactively identify growth opportunities for the brand through a consultative approach. The Account Executive will work closely with the Brand Director to sell a wide range of marketing solutions including exhibit space, sponsorship and branding opportunities, and marketing, and assist in the development of business-winning presentations and proposals. The Account Executive will provide strategic insights to the Brand Director to grow the brand. The Account Executive will meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieving company sales goals for the department portfolio of products by selling exhibits, sponsorship, and other custom packages for the brand.
  • Networking and connecting with industry contacts (through sales calls or visits, prospecting, etc.) to establish client relationships
  • Attending and representing the brand at industry events
  • Identifying and cultivating new relationships within the industry- build sales leads
  • Identify and prioritize prospective sponsors and navigate internal contacts for the best sales approach.
  • Supporting sales through customized proposal generation including creative development, collecting and formulating research information, and building strategic proposals that meet the client’s goals and needs.
  • Research of each potential client/organization/executive before the sales meeting (also true for existing clients and accounts) to be able to help establish the unique value that our packages will provide.
  • Meet with sponsors to identify objectives and determine strategy for achieving objectives. Oversee sponsor relationships to determine if sponsor objectives are being met and track satisfaction levels.
  • Collect and monitor insights and feedback from clients to provide feedback to Management.
  • 10% + travel required for client visits and travel to events- travel should be approved by management.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Other sales-related duties as assigned
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and seminars
  • Develop revenue-generating ideas in collaboration with the Brand Director
  • Generate sales lists for new leads

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience selling events and advertising, preferably in the Healthcare industry; contacts in industry are a plus
  • Experience with consultatively selling integrated packages
  • Strong cold-calling and prospecting skills
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office suite competent
  • Proficiency in salesforce
  • College degree in Business, Communication, or another related field preferred
