Alison Johns

Responsible for digital development at AI, Alison works with company business leaders and developers to build and optimize market-leading emedia businesses. Working in digital media since 1994, she was a member of the founding executive team of DVD Express, where as VP/Creative Director, she helped build the web site into a top ecommerce destination for music, DVD and game titles. Attracted to technology through journalism, Alison has been an editor and publisher, developing and managing technical b2b titles at Penton Publishing and AI. Her freelance articles have appeared in a range of titles including Shape, Garden Design, Variety and American Cinematographer. Recently her teams have been recognized with Eddie’s and Ozzie’s from FOLIO: Magazine and for Web Site of the Year by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.

Michael Grebb

Publisher, Cablefax, PR News and Studio Daily

Michael oversees the day-to-day operations, finances and strategic direction of the Cablefax, PR News and Studio Daily brands. He also helps plan new products and initiatives, and coordinate branded events, awards programs, conferences and other brand-driven projects. Michael's staff of nearly two dozen writers, marketers and sales professionals across the three brands coordinate a number of simultaneous projects, all of them designed to provide vital business information and recognition to their unique executive audiences. Michael has written extensively about business issues for more than 20 years for numerous trade and consumer magazines and websites, and is a member of the Television Critics Association. Also a musician and songwriter, his first solo record, Resolution, was released in 2005, and he continues to produce original music.

His writing has appeared in mmWire, the Boulder Daily Camera, the White Plains Times, Senses of Cinema, Apollo Movie Guide, and Film Freak Central.
