Kerry oversees the Marketing Communications Group, which includes Event Marketer, the Chief Marketer Group, Multichannel Merchant, LeadsCon and their related event and emedia businesses. Kerry joined Access Intelligence with the sale of his company, Red 7 Media, to AI in 2011. Kerry started Red 7 Media in 2002 with a vision to create and launch magazines and conferences in niche business categories. The company was named the fastest-growing privately-held publishing company in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine in 2007 and 2008. He has launched 5 magazines and 8 conferences/shows over the past 30 years. Prior to founding Red 7 Media, Kerry was Group Publisher at Primedia, Inc., where he was responsible for editorial, business management and brand development for a group of 8 business publications, including American Demographics, Corporate Meetings & Incentives, and PROMO Magazine, which he founded in 1987. Kerry served on the board of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) for 5 years, and serves his community as Fire Commissioner. He is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Alison Johns

SVP, Digital Development

Responsible for digital development at AI, Alison works with company business leaders and developers to build and optimize market-leading emedia businesses. Working in digital media since 1994, she was a member of the founding executive team of DVD Express, where as VP/Creative Director, she helped build the web site into a top ecommerce destination for music, DVD and game titles. Attracted to technology through journalism, Alison has been an editor and publisher, developing and managing technical b2b titles at Penton Publishing and AI. Her freelance articles have appeared in a range of titles including Shape, Garden Design, Variety and American Cinematographer. Recently her teams have been recognized with Eddie’s and Ozzie’s from FOLIO: Magazine and for Web Site of the Year by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.

Roberta Caploe

Publisher, Cynopsis Media, Folio: and min

Roberta Caploe is the Publisher of three Access Intelligence B2B properties covering TV and magazines: min, Folio: and Cynopsis. In this role, she is responsible for the strategy and execution of sales, marketing, editorial and events. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, Ms. Caploe served in several senior-level editorial capacities in the consumer publishing world. They include: Editor-in-Chief of the Primedia Youth Entertainment Group and Executive Editor of Ladies’ Home Journal, Prevention, Seventeen, and Soap Opera Digest magazines. She lives in New York City.

Michael Grebb

Publisher, Cablefax, PR News and Studio Daily

Michael oversees the day-to-day operations, finances and strategic direction of the Cablefax, PR News and Studio Daily brands. He also helps plan new products and initiatives, and coordinate branded events, awards programs, conferences and other brand-driven projects. Michael's staff of nearly two dozen writers, marketers and sales professionals across the three brands coordinate a number of simultaneous projects, all of them designed to provide vital business information and recognition to their unique executive audiences. Michael has written extensively about business issues for more than 20 years for numerous trade and consumer magazines and websites, and is a member of the Television Critics Association. Also a musician and songwriter, his first solo record, Resolution, was released in 2005, and he continues to produce original music.

Tony Silber

Vice President

Tony is vice president of Folio: and min. Prior to his current role, he was VP of content for Folio:, min, EXPO and PR News. Before that, he served as general manager of Folio:, min, EXPO and Audience Development, overseeing sales and content strategy. Tony was part of the acquisition team at Red 7 Media that purchased Folio:, CM, and their related products in 2004. In 2003, Tony launched M10, the executive-level magazine and information service for the magazine industry. Prior to M10, Silber served as publisher of Folio: and Circulation Management when they were owned by Primedia. Tony has also served as editor of Folio:. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from the State University of New York at Albany.

Amy oversees all operations, from marketing to social media to editorial, conferences, webinars, awards, guidebooks and online initiatives for the group. Since joining Access intelligence in 2000, Amy has managed a multitude of products and events in the media, cable and PR space. Before joining AI, Amy worked at AIIM International, where she was a marketer for the annual AIIM Tradeshow.

Jess Tyler

Publisher, AdMonsters

Jess Tyler serves as Publisher for the AdMonsters brand within Access Intelligence’s media group. With a background in tradeshows and conferences, Jess leads the brand events including the Publisher Forums, Ops Conference, and meet-ups in addition to the digital advertising and content strategy. Apart from this role, she continues to oversee the annual OR Manager Conference in AI’s healthcare group. Jess previously served as Director of Conferences and Operations for Access Intelligence’s aerospace, healthcare, media and marketing event portfolios and Conference Manager for events within the aerospace and healthcare portfolios. Prior to joining AI, she worked as a meeting planner for the American Society of Civil Engineers and began her career in the tradeshow industry with Experient as a registration services specialist, serving some of the largest tradeshows in the world. She earned B.A. degrees in Political Science and French from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.

Jeff Fortmann

Business Director, Brand Activation Group

Jeff manages all day-to-day business operations and revenue across a group reaching more than one million corporate marketers and agencies. Properties under Jeff’s management include Event Marketer, Chief Marketer, The Experiential Marketing Summit, EventTech, PROMO, The Ex Awards, PRO Awards and EventTech Awards. He joined Access Intelligence 2005 as an account executive on Event Marketer and Event Design magazines. He later was promoted to National Sales Director and then Associate Publisher. In 2016 he was tapped for his current role. He began his sales career at 6FigureJobs.com and honed his techniques as an ad sales director at Media Ventures. He has a BA from the University of Connecticut and lives in New Canaan, CT.

Jessica Heasley

Content Director, Brand Activation Group

Jessica joined the company in 2007 as a Senior Writer with Event Marketer magazine. She has since been promoted first to Associate Editor, then Executive Editor, overseeing editorial content and strategy for the magazine and website, and most recently, Group Editor. In 2010, she won an ASBPE award for a feature profile she wrote on Microsoft’s events department. That same year, Event Marketer was named a Top 10 finalist in the ASBPE Magazine of the Year competition. She also received a regional ASBPE award for her monthly editorial columns. Jessica began her career in marketing and events, where she spent 15 years in various management positions before pursuing a career in journalism. She earned her master’s degree with honors from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2007, and her bachelor’s from the University of Washington.

Zach runs AdExchanger’s editorial operations and supports programming strategy for AdExchanger’s Programmatic IO and Industry Preview events. Under his leadership the publication was recognized with a Jesse H. Neal Award in the category of “Best Media Brand” in 2016 and two regional Azbee Awards for “Best Technical Article” in 2017. He was previously Managing Editor at ClickZ, and his work has been published in The Guardian, Mashable and elsewhere. He is a frequent moderator at industry events.

Steve Goldstein is editorial director of Access Intelligence’s PR News, which encompasses how-to content, conferences, workshops, webinars and competitive intelligence for public relations professionals, as well as awards programs. Previously at AI Steve was editorial director of min and managing editor of Cablefax: The Magazine. Before joining Access Intelligence, he was executive editor of World Screen News, and editor of Film/Tape World in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Rob Beeler

Rob Beeler became Chairman for AdMonsters in 2016 after serving as Publisher. Earlier, as Vice President of Content and Media he oversaw the development of content for events and was Editor in Chief for AdMonsters.com. Rob joined AdMonsters in October 2008 after nearly 10 years at Advance Internet, a leading creator of local news and information web sites across the United States. At Advance Internet, Rob started as the only Ad Operations person and developed a department of 15 people in 8 locations across the country responsible for operations, project management, business development, web analytics and financial reporting, becoming Executive Director of Ad Operations and Analytics in 2007.

Gavin Dunaway

Editorial Director, AdMonsters

As Editorial Director, Gavin hunts down the topics on the top of ad operation pros' minds and turns them into in-depth feature articles. He also recruits industry thought leaders (typically breaking out a show-stopping musical number) to contribute opinion and educational pieces for the AdMonsters' website. In addition, Gavin contributes some sweat equity into developing content and recruiting speakers for AdMonsters' wide array of events. Previously Gavin served as Senior Editor for interactive advertising trade news depot Adotas.com, and before that he held reporting and editing roles for numerous industry-related publications, including TheStreet. Gavin earned his Bachelor's at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, where he majored in English but also studied theater and film.
